Shirley Ann Davis, known affectionately as Annie, passed away Sept. 6, 2024, in Weatherford at the age of 87. She was a longtime resident of Azle. Born Aug. 16, 1937, in Reeds Spring, Missouri, Annie was one of twelve siblings and was cherished as a “little mother” to her brothers and sisters.
Graveside services are pending at Yocum Pond Cemetery in Reeds Spring, Missouri.
Annie's grace and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Ann’s memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of her family and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Leah Marie Pruitt.
Ann is survived by her husband, Bill Davis; son, Joe Pruitt and wife Dana, children, Haven and Atticus Pruitt, Daniel, Taylor, and Brooke Castilleja; four great grandchildren; siblings, Larry Carver, Mrs. Betty Maggard, Mrs. Pat Ray and Mrs. Judy Harvey; and numerous nieces and nephews in Missouri.
