Terms of Service

Thanks for visiting Tri-County Reporter, a DBA of Hyde Media. Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the terms “company”, “we”, and “our” will refer to Tri-County Reporter. All visitors to the website, whether a subscription holder or not, are herein referred to as “customer”.

  1. Modification of the Terms & Conditions

Tri-County Reporter reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which this website is offered, including but not limited to the charges associated with the use of this website.

  1. Cancellation / Refund Policy

All sales are final.  We allow the customer to review any information, and we make every effort to satisfy the (customer’s) requested changes before finalizing. Approval is acquired for all Advertising, Legal Notices, and Obituaries prior to publication therefore, no refunds will be issued.

Subscriptions can be cancelled with a full refund within 7 days of the start of a subscription, with the exception of, Day Pass, Week Pass, and Monthly subscriptions. Any cancellations after 7 days from the start of a subscription will not receive a refund. Unused portions of any subscription service will not be refunded.  When signing up for a subscription the customer agrees to the terms of the Day Pass, Week Pass, Monthly, or Yearly subscription service in its entirety including, but not limited to, the Cancellation / Refund Policy terms.

  1. Use License

Permission is granted to subscription customers to temporarily download one copy of the materials on the Company's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license the customer may not:

  • modify or copy the materials;
  • use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display;
  • attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on the Company's website;
  • remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
  • transferring the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.

This allows the company to terminate any agreement upon violation of any of these restrictions. Upon termination, a customer’s viewing right will also be terminated and any downloaded materials in the possession of said customer, whether in printed or electronic digital format, must be destroyed at the customer’s expense.

  1. Disclaimer

All the material on the Company's website is provided "as is". Hyde Media and Tri-County Reporter make no warranties, may it be expressed or implied, therefore negates all other warranties. Furthermore, Hyde Media and Tri-County Reporter do not make any representations concerning the accuracy or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or any sites linked to this website. 

  1. Limitations

The Company or its suppliers will not be held accountable for any damages that will arise with the use or inability to use the materials on the Company's website, even if the Company or an authorized representative of this website has been notified, orally or written, of the possibility of such damage. Some jurisdiction does not allow limitations on implied warranties or limitations of liability for incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to the customer.

  1. Revisions and Errata

The materials appearing on the Company's website may include content, technical, typographical, or photographic errors.  The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, or completion of content on the Company’s website. The Company may change the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. The Company does not make any commitment to update these materials.

  1. Links

The Company has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The presence of any link does not imply endorsement by Hyde Media or Tri-County Reporter of any kind for said site. The use of any linked website is at the customer’s own risk.

The Company may revise these Terms of Use for its website at any time without prior notice. By using this website you, the customer, agree to be bound by the current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

  1. Governing Law

Any claim related to the Company's website shall be governed by the laws of the Company without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

  1. Miscellaneous

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any customer, by viewing this site, agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, including any violation by the customer of these Terms and Conditions, shall be filed only in the state of federal courts located in Dallas County and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating such action. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions.
