Don Gorski

1942-2024

Don Gorski, 81, passed away peacefully at home Feb. 27, 2024.

Service will be at 11 a.m. March 7 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Azle.

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri.

He enlisted in the Air Force in 1961. He deployed to Vietnam during the war and many other bases around the world during his 28-year career. His last duty station was Carswell AFB, which brought his family to Texas. He then worked for the United Postal Service.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Charlotte, to whom he was married for 60 years, and his brothers Larry and Jerry.

Don is survived by his son David and his wife Christina; brothers Kenny and Michael; and sister Joanne.

Don would always say he was proud of his grandchildren Christian Lynn, Jonathan Robert, Taylor Rae, and his great-granddaughter Jamielynn.

He will be missed more than words can describe. He was witty, reserved but quick with a joke and all-around good man. He made an indelible mark on everyone he met.
