Ronald Oster Neuville, a retired truck driver for Central Freight Lines, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at home. Ron or "Ronnie" was born March 8, 1948, in Fort Worth to Elizabeth Ophelia Oster and Donald Thomas Neuville Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be July 26, at 3 p.m. at Alexander’s Midway Funeral Home, 3607 East Highway 199, Springtown, TX 76082.

Ron graduated from Arlington Heights High School and was a longtime resident of Fort Worth until he married and spent his later years in Springtown.

His intellectual curiosity led him to love history and pursue many hobbies, making him a “jack of all trades,” some of which included boat racing, construction, welding, Nascar, restoration, garage sales, collecting and reselling. His greatest passion was trains and he amassed a large collection of artifacts from the golden age of travel.

Ron’s legacy will be that of a prankster who wore a purple TCU hat and taught others how to do things RIGHT!

He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Marjorie Neuville; daughter Deirdre Cotton; stepdaughters Debra Row and Carissa Row; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
