Posted

Glenn Zack Clancy, beloved son, brother, and uncle, died at his Azle home Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Biggers Funeral Home.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.

Glenn was born July 26, 1983, in Ogden, Utah, and lived in California and Texas, graduating in 2002 from Rim of the World High School in Lake Arrowhead, California, where he was an Explorer Scout with the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department. After returning to Texas, Glenn was a certified nursing assistant from 2011 to 2014, then obtained his commercial driver license to become a truck driver. He traveled the country, then worked a variety of local delivery jobs before joining a Fort Worth culinary services company, Savor, in 2022.

Although Glenn traveled many miles, he knew life’s journey was measured in moments. Glenn was generous with his time, resources and love, and will be missed by all those whose lives are richer because they knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Julia Dunaway; stepfather, Steve; his father, Vincent Clancy Jr.; stepmother, Susan; siblings, Helen Clancy, John David (Lauren) Stokes, Alexandra (Jake) Laney, Misty (Tony) Mecham, Melody (Dave) Bergman and Kevin (Lindsay) Soderlund; Glenn, 41, also leaves behind the light of his life, Angela Williams, and her children, Skyla and Jaxon; nieces Taylor, Grace, Kyndal and Meggan; and nephews Garrett, Kadin, Austin, Carson, James, and Cage.

The family wishes memorial contributions would be made to the animal rescue charity of your choice.
