It is with loving sadness that we announce the passing of Nadine Ryan (née Templin) from Springtown May 31, 2024. Nadine was born July 13, 1943.
A Celebration of Life service will be held to honor Nadine at First Baptist Church in Springtown, 500 N. Main St., July 27 at 2 p.m.
Nadine graduated from Coleman High School in 1961. In 1975 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. She completed her Master of Education from Texas Women’s University in 1989.
Nadine went on to teach and coach for Springtown ISD for 28 years as a first and fifth grade teacher. She also taught at the Springtown Alternative Learning Center and coached the Springtown High School tennis team for seven years. In her spare time, Nadine was a Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church in Springtown. Nadine was known for her love of education, children and her great sense of humor!
Nadine is fondly missed by her daughters Angie Lyles and Amy Walker; four grandchildren: Angela Walker, Alexandra Walker, Ryan Lyles and Andie Lyles; her sister Bertha Devoss; her sons-in-law Ted Lyles and Fabio Walker; her brother-in-law John Devoss; and so many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.
Nadine was predeceased by her husband Gary Ryan of Springtown.
