Michael Eugene Lane, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in Weatherford.

He was born Nov. 12, 1946, in Fort Worth to Robert Ray and Dortha Ellen (Ford) Lane.

He grew up in the Fort Worth area and graduated from Tech High in 1964. He married the love of his life, Sandra, in 1965. Michael worked as a grain elevator operator supervisor, retiring after 36 years of service. He enjoyed all things outdoors and loved spending time with his family.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sue Watson and Barbara Lane; and daughter, Deanna Lynn Lane.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sandra Lane; sons, Michael Ray Lane and Kyle Ray Lane; sister, Patrica Raegle; grandchildren, Hazel, Scarlett, Luke, Madison, DJ, Summer, Brandon, and Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
