Fredrick Harlow

1955-2024

Fredrick McKinley Harlow, 68, peacefully passed away after a short battle with cancer May 25, 2024. He passed at home surrounded by family who loved him dearly.

Please join us at the Branded Cross Cowboy Church and Arena June 8 at 10 a.m. for his final journey. We will have a potluck with all friends and family after his memorial. After that we will give dad one last ride if anyone would like to join us.

Freddy, son of Otto and Maxine (Breeden) Harlow, was born in Kankakee, Illinois Dec. 2, 1955.

He lived a simple life by riding his motorcycle with his friends and club members of Guardian of the Children, going to car shows, playing music with friends and family, singing hymns and playing guitar.

Freddy was a man who never knew a stranger and always had kind words of wisdom to those around him. He was hard-working and did everything he could to make sure his family was taken care of.

He was a strong believer in Jesus Christ our savior and we know that he is now fishing those heavenly lakes with his father Otto. He will be dearly loved and missed by all.

Freddy had a long, prosperous career with Albertsons as a delivery driver and dispatcher. He then retired from Penske Truck Rental after being a dispatcher and safety manager last year.

He is survived by his two children with Wendy Haynes: son, Zackery and his wife Chelsie, and daughter Kayse Harlow.
