AZLE — On Friday, Nov. 17, Forte Junior High held its fifth annual Day of Service. The student body of more than 490 plus over 50 faculty members took part in the event to beautify and do important work in the community.

All through the day, Forte students and staff took part in community services activities throughout the Azle area. Local students read with elementary school students, played games with senior citizens, packed boxes at the Community Caring Center, cleaned up community parks, assisted the Azle Area Chamber of Commerce, volunteered at Cross Timbers Golf Course and much more.

“Forte JH provides this opportunity to service the community while instilling a sense of care in the hearts of students as part of their desire to be "Ready, Responsible, and Respectful" members of FJH,” the district said on its website.
