Chester A. Wiley Jr, known to his family and friends as J.R./Chet, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the age of 75. He was surrounded by his wife, Kelly Ann, and mother-in-law, Mildred Dodson, at Parkbend Nursing and Rehab in Fort Worth. Chester served in United States Army for a short period and had a successful career as a welder and engineer.
Wiley’s favorite past time was playing golf, bowling, fishing, Nascar, watching old westerns and being surrounded by family and friends at his home for BBQ gatherings. Chester and his wife owned and operated Family Photography of Springtown for several years. Wiley also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids.
Preceding him in death were his parents Dorla and Chester Sr, brother Rick Wiley, sister Debbie Wiley, daughter Michelle Wiley and grandson Cody Binderup.
Left behind to forever cherish his memory are his wife of 33 years, Kelly Ann Wiley; sister, Teresa and Danny Coelho; brother, David Wiley and wife; children, Todd Wiley, Tammy and Donald Stafford, Kristie Wiley, Dede and Jose Marquez, Laurie Mottu, and bonus children Mari Swain and Justin Hadley; many nieces, nephews and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and was loved by everyone he came in contact with.
