Azle Memorial Library spring break events set March 13-17

Posted

While the Azle Independent School District pauses for spring break March 13-17, Azle Memorial Library is ramping up the fun by offering a series of free events to keep Azle students busy and entertained during the break.

Starting on Tuesday, March 14 at 6:30 p.m., AML will kick off the series with a DIY Sugar Scrub event, in which adults and teens (14+) can create their own sugar scrub in preparation for the summer months. All supplies will be provided by the library.

Doubling the fun on Wednesday, March 15, AML will be hosting two events. At 10:30 a.m., an Azle local presents All About Animals: Live Show! for kids ages 4-12. Seating for that event is limited, so arrive early to the Library Community Room to guarantee your spot.

AML continues the fun with Lego Club: Golden Brick Edition on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. All ages are welcome, and the Lego bricks will be supplied by the library.

Even though AISD will be paused, AML keeps the learning going with a Water Conservation Education Activity on Thursday, March 16 at 10:30 a.m. For ages 5-12, the event will be held in the library parking lot.

Throughout the week — March 13-17 — AML is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day themed Scavenger Hunt in the children’s area guaranteed to keep the kids entertained all week long.
