While a few permanent tables are available, the FeedLot urgers visitors to bring their own camping chairs to ensure they have a place to sit. The city recommends keeping cash handy for the ease of visitors and vendors. Yard games are also encouraged. Since the FeedLot is located on city-owned property, alcohol is prohibited.

The city has ambitious plans for the site including a farmers market and weekly food truck events during the aforementioned times. The number of food trucks at the FeedLot during its debut will be double the expected number on any normal weekend.
