Azle FCCLA holds fall craft fair

Posted

AZLE — Azle High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America chapter will host a craft fair fundraiser at Azle High School Saturday, Oct. 26. Over 100 crafters and vendors are slated to be there. The craft fair will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Events will take place in the school gyms, cafeteria and common areas. Food trucks will be outside with cafeteria seating inside so people can eat comfortably. FCCLA members will be on-site to help with any directions. Last year’s craft fair was a resounding success, with hundreds of community members visiting to pursue vendors, show off their Halloween costumes and take part in some indoor trunk-or-treating.

All are welcome to come out and do some early Christmas shopping and enjoy culinary treats from any of the five food trucks present: D’s Smokering BBQ, Miss George’s Grilled Cheese, Cafe El Abuelo, Melt Ice Cream Cart and Gordo’s Mexican Cocina.

The FCCLA is a national, state and local career and technical student organization. As a student-led organization, FCCLA aims to address the community’s needs and promote personal growth through leadership development. FCCLA promotes itself as a way Azle Hornets can get involved at their school as well as in the community, compete with opportunities to win scholarships, develop as leaders and connect with families.
