SPRINGTOWN — The holidays are upon us and Springtown has all the family-fun holiday events waiting for you to attend. Here are the top five holiday events happening in the next month.
This event is presented by the City of Springtown and invites you and your family to come and participate in the Christmas parade, in which residents and city officials will participate. After the parade, the tree-lighting ceremony will commence. This event will take place Sunday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. in the Springtown square.
Join the city of Springtown for the sixth annual Old-Fashioned Christmas celebration. This year's event is shaping up to be the biggest festival yet. The event will host dozens of vendors, a kids area full of activities and inflatables, an ice-skating rink, several local performers on the Tabernacle stage and more. All the city-sponsored activities, including ice skating, are completely free. This event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 on the Springtown square.
The staple shop in Springtown, Market 76082, will host a family-oriented Christmas bash where vendors, bounce houses, prizes, food trucks, sip and shop plus more will be featured. Come and shop for Christmas gifts and more. This event will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at Market 76082.
This event is hosted by the Springtown Elementary PTA, so mark your calendars for the annual Christmas Family Night. The PTA will have a lot of free fun for everyone. The food trucks will be on site and the Merry Market Santa shop will be open for shopping. This event will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12 at 416 E. Third St. in Springtown.
The whole family is invited to the free community support event hosted by The Venue On The Square and Texas Homes Brokerage. Come shop local businesses and get those last-minute gifts. At the heart of the Springtown square, there will be family photo ops, pictures with the Grinch, Christmas crafts for kids, writing letters to Santa, cookies, local vendors and more. This event will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22 at the Venue on the Square, 116 Optimist Road in Springtown.
