Teresa Ann Evans 65, of Azle, passed away peacefully with family at her side June 29, 2024 in Azle.
A Celebration of Life will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Eagle Mountain Plaza, 300 West Main St., in Azle.
Teresa was born in Fort Worth Nov. 8, 1958, to Elza Ree “ER” Evans and Allie Louise Owen Evans. Teresa attended Lake Worth schools beginning in 1966 and graduated in 1977. She furthered her education at the Child Study Center from 1978 through the early 1990s where she learned skills for independent living and held a job earning her own paycheck working at the “Workshop” for special needs kids.
Teresa is preceded in death by her father, Elza Ree “E.R.” Evans and mother Allie Louise Owen Evans, as well as her grandparents, Virgle Lee and Martha Rebecca Burnett Evans and Elisha Andrew Owen and Allie Odessa Mann.
She is survived by her younger sister, Patricia Evans of Azle; nephew Jason Downes and his children Jacob, Kaylee, Kinsley and Jaiden of Azle; niece Brandie Boyle, her husband John, and their children Timber and Saige of Azle; aunt Connie Woody of Little Elm; uncle Paul Owen of Durant, Oklahoma; and multiple cousins, family and friends.
