SPRINGTOWN — On Dec. 12 Springtown High School Principal Andrew Hohman presented the November and December students of the month to the Springtown Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors and ambassadors.
Riley Tidwell was the first to be named December student of the month. Tidwell is a senior and is considering attending Texas Christian University as her college of choice.
Next, Senior Dawson Ferris was named. Ferris was not there in person to receive his award as he was at a basketball tournament. Hohman said Ferris is looking forward to being an auto mechanic after graduation.
Jamie Mueller and Jacqueline Aranda were named the chamber’s November students of the month. Mueller is excited to attend Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls for mechanical engineering.
Aranda is an office aid at Springtown High School and she plans to attend Wade College in Dallas to learn about design consulting.
Principal Hohman congratulated the students and wished them well.
