Martha Jo (Marsh) Smith, 87, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord Sunday, June 30, 2024.
The family will have a private memorial; there will be no public service.
She was born June 30, 1937, to Frank and Teresa (Sellars) Marsh in Memphis, Tennessee.
Martha “Jo” Smith was Mom and Nanny to everyone. It was her loving and caring nature that filled others’ hearts with joy. She lived her life with a servant’s heart, driven by her love for the Lord. Ever faithful, Jo continued her devotion to God, family and friends until her passing. We know she was greeted with loving arms by the love of her life, Ray Smith, her husband. Jo will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Smith; son, Bryan Smith and sister Francis Prock.
She is survived by her sons, Monte Smith and wife Sharon, Micah Marin and wife Carol; daughter, Deborah Winters and husband Danny; grandchildren, Dustin, Meagan, Austin, Angelo, Maximillian, and Sebastian; great-grandchildren, Griffin, Gage and Hudson.
