Frances Naomi (Ellis) Fleming, age 84, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023.
Service is at noon on Thursday, Nov. 16, in Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76135. Graveside service is at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX, 75211.
Visitation was Wed., Nov. 15, at Biggers Funeral Home.
Naomi was born July 11, 1939, in Blooming Grove to Ida Ruth Fredrick and Thomas Allen Ellis.
She married Willard P. Fleming and they had three children. She loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Naomi’s door was always open for the neighborhood children. She was a loving mother and mother-in-love. Anyone who knows her will miss her dearly.
At a young age, her family moved to Euless and raised her family there. With all the children grown, in 1979, they moved to Kingston, Oklahoma to live on Lake Texoma. In 1993, they moved to Azle. Naomi was a Christian and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ida and Thomas Ellis; her husband, Willard; two children, Daniel Fleming and Darla Fleming; and her sister, Billye Waldrip.
Naomi is survived by her daughter, Debra Beard and her husband, Roy; her grandchildren, Amy and Jon Hunt, Jessie and Jeff Tripp and Danielle and Matt Stinson; her great-grandchildren, Hunter Hunt, Ashlyn Tripp, Addie Tripp, Austyn Tripp, Nataleigh Eubank and Maddi Stinson; and her sister, Janie Doshier.
