“I finished all my OnRamps classes with 90% and above on the college side and I earned my second 4 on an AP test (I've only taken two),” Maples said. “I am also proud of my progress in track and cross country, I broke my mile and two-mile records last track season and was able to run a mile under 6 minutes and a two-mile under 13 minutes. I am also proud of many of my art projects and the medal I earned for one of them in an art competition.”
Maples said her test taking skills are one of her greatest strengths, along with her logic and writing skills.
She considers her endurance to be her best personal quality and her struggle with time management to be a weakness. Maples described herself as compassionate, patient and striving. As the eldest of six children, she said she has developed a lot of patience. She has participated in track, cross country, the VASE art competition and plans to join the National Honor Society. Mistic said she is always able to fulfil responsibilities because of her dedication and focus on academics.
“My greatest personal quality is that I am always ready and willing to do whatever is needed,” she said. “For example, when some asks for my help, without hesitation, I always agree and help out. My weakness is that I tend to spend too much time perfecting useless details. One example is when I spent four hours drawing a one-pager for one of my classes, when I could have easily gotten the same grade spending an hour on it, and I would have been able to study more for a test had I not spent so much time on the art.”
She describes herself as determined, considerate and responsible. Mistic is involved in NHS, AVID, PALS, track and cross country. She enjoys Taekwondo, gymnastics, Karate, swimming and trivia.

Quillin describes herself as hardworking, determined and compassionate. She is involved in cross country, basketball, track and NHS. She enjoys painting, hiking, swimming, running, traveling and going on spontaneous trips to new places. Quillin also likes to shop, walk around downtown areas and visit historic spots.
