AZLE — David “Mickey” Clark was unanimously appointed to the Azle Parks and Recreation board Place 4 during a Nov. 19 Azle City Council meeting. Clark is a longtime Azle resident and was already well known by many of the councilmembers.
“I am interested in serving on the City of Azle’s Parks and Recreation Board to support the enhancement of our community’s recreational spaces and programs, making them accessible, enjoyable and reflective of Azle’s unique character,” Clark said in an application for the board seat. “With a commitment to fostering a healthy, vibrant community, I hope to contribute my skills and insight to strengthen our parks, promote outdoor activities, and ensure that these spaces serve the needs of all residents. Serving in this role would be a valuable way to give back to the city and help shape Azle’s natural and recreational resources for future generations. I have over 20 years of experience in construction management/design focused on electrical services. I'm also familiar with the community and its needs as I've been a longtime Azle resident.”
