Center of Hope announces new location in Springtown

SPRINGTOWN — Parker County Center of Hope announces the opening of its new location at 112 Optimist Road at the Springtown square. The newly renovated facility will provide a range of services to the community and includes a lobby, a food pantry, dining room and kitchen. The center will also provide life coaching and advising offices, a medical clinic, classrooms for adult education and career development programs.

For the past four years, Center of Hope has been operating out of Agnes Baptist Church. This larger space will allow the Center of Hope to reach more people plus introduce more services.

Center of Hope CEO Staci Markwardt expressed her excitement and says she is thankful for the support.

"We started small, but God has continued to bless our work, and we are excited to expand our reach with this new location to serve more families in the Springtown area,” Markwardt said. “The support we have received has been overwhelming and is a true testament of the heart of the people in this community.”

Center of Hope will host a grand opening event Thursday, Nov. 14, from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. The celebration will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the new facility and opportunities to meet Center of Hope staff and volunteers.

The center will be open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information about Center of Hope in Springtown, go to www.centerofhopetx.com/serving-in-springtown/.
