Benny C. Sproles of Azle passed away June 25, 2024.
A funeral service will be held at White's Azle Funeral Home July 3, at 10 a.m.
Benny was born Jan. 1, 1949 to B.F. and Ruby (Carter) Sproles in Benson, Arizona.
Benny married Lynnette (Nelson) Jan. 26, 1968. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam war. He and his wife had four children and six grandchildren. Benny retired from Azle ISD after 25 years as a custodian.
Benny was predeceased by his parents, B.F. and Ruby Sproles and several siblings, his daughter, Jennifer Sproles; son, Clinton Sproles; and son-in-law and best friend, Cortlan Fowler.
Benny is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lynnette Sproles; his daughters, Kimberly Fowler and Stacy Baker; daughter-in-law, Amy Sproles; grandchildren, Lauren and Lily Fowler, Cullin and Cyndi Fowler, Hannah Baker, Patrick, Emily and Parker Sproles; sisters, Brenda Devine, Dean Roberts and Stella (Steven) Webb; brother-in-law, Wendel Sons, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
