Communications Director Amanda Moore read a proclamation at an Oct. 21 board of trustees meeting designating October as “Principal’s Month” throughout the district. Azle ISD joined schools across the nation in recognizing administrators this month.
“National Principal’s Month provides an opportunity for districts and communities to honor campus principals and recognize the pivotal role they play in the lives of our students and staff members,” Moore read aloud. “Principals are entrusted with a profound responsibility, the education of Texas children, and they make an enormous impact on students and teachers alike on a daily basis. As leaders of their schools, they set the academic tone by laying out ambitious goals, enforcing rigorous standards and implementing policies with wisdom and resolve, creating cultures of excellence where students can achieve their full potential. During National Principal’s Month, it is our honor to recognize the great work of our principals and celebrate them for all that they do as school leaders every day.”
