AZLE — Students from Azle High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America organized their second ever fall festival and craft fair at the school, Oct. 26. The fair was even bigger than the previous year’s with 160 vendors compared to 120.
“We’re very proud to have our second annual Azle High School FCCLA craft fair, and very proud of the kids for helping out with the vendors, loading and unloading and just doing customer service today,” FCCLA advisor Natasha Deramee said. “And I'm very proud of the community for coming out to shop and to honor the vendors.”
Artisans, craftsmen and creators of all kinds came together to sell a wide variety of different items. George Garrett traveled more than two hours from the city of Van to sell his custom bird houses at the fair.
“This is my first time over here,” Garrett said. “There’s a lot of vendors and I’m seeing a lot of people today. I’m excited about meeting more people and showing off what my hobby has created.”
