Congratulations to the Azle girls cross-country team for qualifying to compete at the Region 1 Cross-Country Championship for the sixth season in a row.
The girls placed ninth and did not advance to the state meet but put in many miles and hours over the past several months to make it as far as they did. The team’s coaches thanked everyone who supported the team, including families, business sponsors, the employees in the transportation and athletic departments and the teachers who worked to support the kids throughout the season.
